Today is Ride to Work Day ...

I did, at a cost of $3.13 round trip on premium gas (which my bike needs).  Yesterday I drove my truck at a cost of $8.67 (regular gas).   With forecast high of 106F today, and knowing that on the Dallas North Tollway, the ambient temp is usually 15-20F higher, we'll see if I regret it this evening.

For me, just about every day this year has been ride to work day.  I have put over 10K miles on mine this year.

+1

I've been riding as much as I can, its hot and sweaty, but its better than the non-lubed excitment at the pump.

I take mine when I can, it's a bitch trying to fit all those targets in the saddle bags though.

Highest temp shown on my handlebar mounted digital thermometer was 114.5F - on tollway near LBJ.   I'm taking the truck today.   I've been riding as much as possible this season, but this heat is horrible.  Amazing the difference between 99F and 115F
