| Anyone seen any LCP available locally, saw a video and some good feedback from the handgun forum. Worth a look as the summer approaches. |

What I have heard from my dealer is that ALL of this year's production has already been allocated. So don't expect your dealer to be able to get one if he is not already on the list. It is one of a few "copies" of the p3at that is coming out this year, I hear Kahr has one in the works as well. BTW, my Kel Tec p3AT works just fine for about $100 less. |

I handled one today. Looks a little more refined than the Kel Tec. I've been carrying a P32 daily for 5 years now and would never change. It has a fake slide stop on it. It does not lock back on an empty chamber but anyone who has ever field stripped a Kel Tec knows that you have to hold the slide back while you pry on the takedown pin. The Ruger has a slide stop that you have to manually engage to lock the slide back. So it's easier to break down. Whoop De DOO. If anyone wants one I know that there will be at least one at the gun show tomorrow in Carrolton. The store I work in has two owners and the silent partner does gun shows. He got ONE and one only. Be early to get it. Oh, and only a few wholesalers have gotten theirs yet. Anyone who is a dealer with these wholesalers can order them. It all depends on if your rep likes you enough to give you one. It'll be crazy for a little while but they are not all spoken for yet. |
