OK I don't know the best way to go about this, but since I was the one that organized it feel the need to do something here. I dropped the ball and for that Pat I'm sorry. I've never seen a buy where people paid then just kind of blah'd out so didn't know I would need follow up. I know the holidays are coming up, but you have all had plenty of time. I would love to set a date of if not paid by "XYZ" date I or Pat- figure Pat wants less work not more here- will arrange to have them resold. I still have the list of everyone who was in the buy. I will be emailing Pat for the list of those not yet paid up. I would like to set a cut off date for forms complete/mailed of 12/31, I don't know for sure on Pat's wishes though. Basically I'm throwing this out there as a this makes me look bad, from Pat's prior posts we're beyond the reasonable time frame of allowance. Again Pat sorry for my part in not staying more on top of this man. |

I had to send mine in more than once, but Tim didn't quit until it was fixed. After thread repair, it gets a new finish job. You can't distinguish it from a new can. So if your can needs thread repair, it won't be a big deal. I've got 500 rds through mine, on 16" and 20" ar10's. I made some subsonic with 165gr Lasercast bullets and trailboss powder. It's movie quiet with those loads. |
And the both of you need to read the forum rules. NO WTB ADS in here, read the wall of shame thread tacked and you will see just what is going on........ |
Were the cans not paid for up front? |
Yes, the cans were paid for, but the customers have not sent in the paperwork for the NFA TAX. |
my bad PETA, didn't want it to sound like a WTB ad, just throwing out an option half joking |
My hope is if people don't get there stuff done- is "resale" the item with a refund giong back to the original buyer. The only thing that sucks here is I'd like to avoid more work for Pat and this could be a headache for him possibly- this is just my guess not him saying though. |
Sell the cans to out of state residents and then Pat will only need to do an F3 instead of waiting on more dead beats. |

You know, I never did chime in this thread. In short, THANK YOU CHAKUP. The can, while I did have to send it back to repair the threads, is very quiet, robust, and enjoyable. I've put it on 3 H&Ks, shot both .223 and .308 out of it, and it will soon go on a .308 DPMS AR and a Savage bolt action. Also thanks to Pat for putting up with us. |
