| Moving from St Louis City temporarily to Jefferson County. Sold our house and haven't found a new one so living with in-laws for hopefully no more than a couple months. I understand I have to notify the Jeff Co sherrif for my CCW but I can't find any info about SBRs on in-state moves. The engraving on my SBR will no longer be correct and the address on my Form 1 will no longer be correct. Is there anything I need to do about this? Thank you gentlemen. |

Do nothing. The engraving on the lower is for where it was manufactured it does not change. As far as cow. You will have to go to Hillsboro and change the ccw. I do not know if you have to change the drivers lic address first. Just bring cash they don't except cards. I think it was 10 bucks. You are also required to notify Stl just send them a letter. I went down to Clayton 2 years ago to do it they didn't have a process and just had me hand write a letter to them while I was there. |

No changes to engraving or Form 1, that's manufacture location, as mentioned.
On the advice of an SOT/FFL-07 I sent ATF a letter (along with copies of my stamps/forms) saying roughly, "I have moved to this address, please update any records accordingly." They mailed the entire thing back to me with a note that pretty much said, "Eh, don't care." |
