I am personally very pleased that the two standard plate offerings celebrate either our country's founding, or God. I currently have an "In God We Trust" plate on our three daily drivers. I am torn if I want to keep that one (which I think is a very nice looking plate and represents my values) or the Revolutionary plate which honors my ancestors who fought at Eutaw Springs and overwintered at Valley Forge respectively. I also believe that taxation is theft and I shouldn't be taxed to drive something I paid for with earnings that were taxed. But I'm radical that way. |
