Want to play but have just come back from holiday and about to fork out over £1000 on car insurance and £300 on a new exhaust.
Skint isn't the word and it would be an expenive trip for me. £100 fuel, + overnight accomodation + Food and drink + ammo + entry fees. Normally I'd be up for it but this time I'm going to have to cry off I think. Mrs would have hair like Don King if I went on this one.

Want to play but have just come back from holiday Are you going to review your holiday shooting experiences? Not much to review really.... did some target shooting, and worked on my sling technique (badly needed) Spent a lot of time with Mrs and Mini-AF on days out.... it was a family holiday after all. Would definitely go back there.... lovely people and the facilities were great for shooing. Max Range was 100 yds but it was fun with reduced targets. Had a go on the turning targets and played at mini-rifle with a couple opf the guys there. Great fun. Great place though, but they were a bit shady about the noise issue. The range is mainly used by prone .22LR target Rilfe shooters, so rocking up with 3 AR15's raised a few eyebrows, but most people were extremely friendly and keen to know more. .223 did cause a bit of a noise issue though, more though concern by the owners for a neighbour who owns a particularly nervous doggy with a loose bowl condition. Thanks for the tip off RN Sub |

Not long now Seems like a good way of using up the batch of 'variable' RG I was using at this year's Imperial. Weather forecast says temperature in the low 20s with sun and showers. Looking on the bright side at least there's no running involved. Roll on Saturday... |

I hit loads of targets......sadly they were mostly in the wrong lanes ![]() Yes, thanks for that Mark, however I seemed to have returned the favour at times .
Full results will be sent out as soon as Fred gets back from being a weekend warrior as he has all the email addresses. However, overall results are below, a few minor changes to totals (3 actually, my mental arithmetic must be getting better) but nothing to alter the overall standings. Thanks all for coming, 27 in total 'braved' the excellent September weather (although I hear the wind was a bit tricky at 600m ).
Personal things to take away from this match, I was reminded of a few home truths;
