Ok...SHOT show starts in a week First Question Anyone else from TN going? If so where you staying? Maybe a TNHTF dinner together or at least a drink one night. I'll be at the Stratosphere but the tram is basically right across the street and I'm gonna buy a week pass. Im flying out on the monday before the show starts checking in late night. Second Question What booths do you guys want info from? Literally there are so many vendors there that me and my partner cant cover them all. I even have a buddy thats gonna fly out wednesday night and help us cover more ground on thursday and friday. I will def hit the vendors below in no particular order on the first day Colt Glock Kimber Smith and Wesson LaRue Kel-Tec Bushmaster/Remington Benelli H&K Springfield LMT DPMS Magpul TNVC––––-if any of you got some serious jack and are ready to drop it on NV victor is the only way to go. lots of nonsense in the nightvision forums here and other sites...Victor knows whats up no doubt. Midwest Industries Troy Ind. Guys help me put me priorities straight......if there is somebody i skipped that you think should be on the first day list please let me know. Also know that i didnt list any of the big wholesalers like RSR and others. They get hit up first and last and its all business no bs'ing so it takes no time. If there is a particular item that you have been waiting on and would like me to ask someone face to face about just post it up and it will make its way onto my SHOT Checklist. Basically any questions for anything gun related at all .......I'm not omnipotent, most of you guys know far more about guns than I do so help me brainstorm. |

From the Aquilia ammo folks I would REALLY like to know two things PLEASE!!!!!
1. Will they ever import the 45 acp IQ ammo again? The ammo is GREAT and actually woks as advertised. 117 Gr Hollow Point with 1400 fps speed. 2. If they are not going to import the ammo, will they at least import the 117 grain HP bullets themselves so we can load them for ourselves. |

Can you hide me in your carry on and tell my work to excuse my absence?
LaRue and Magpul would be the top of my list but, .... if you have time what about CMMG, any other dedicated .22lr uppers manufactures or if you see any nice .22lr suppressors...I am about ready to get a dedicated .22lr upper and the LONG standing desire for a V(ery)SBR and suppressor are so tempting me. I am not a current stamp collector but,...the desire is so much it almost hurts. also maybe any info on any new or pocket .380's |

I will ask CMMG about the dedicated .22lr uppers. If you are wanting a .22lr suppressor look no further than Gemtech and when their tax return sale goes on thats when you should look at getting one..smoking deals that time of the year. They are an Industry partner here on AR15.com and they are top notch......look in the industry forum and find their subforum....User name is Kel, he is real helpfull |
Ask AAC when the crap are they gonna start shipping out take-apart TiRants? They NEVER answer the phone. Be safe out there. I might becable to go next year. We just had a baby so no go for me, but you might run into Josh & the crew out there. Keep your powder dry.

There's a thread in GD about the KelTec shotgun shipping to dealers. Ouch! Ok, so now it looks like I'm waiting for the price gouging to clear out. Yeah, they're SELLING for $1500-$2500. Not listng, selling. The market will support whatever price demand will generate. It's a big couple of show weeks in LV right now... CES, SHOT, then the AVNs. I'll be in town for the AVNs to present the 2011 "Best scene involving a midget, a 9-iron, and a stuffed bison" award. Stay tuned. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Update......Any TNHTF or other arfcom brethren that read this thread and will be in Vegas for SHOT......We are planning a informal dinner on wednesday night. No exact time or location has been determined, just dinner wednesday. If you are gonna be out there come eat with us.
Keep the questions coming guys. |

Have a good time guys. Just leaving LV right now - I ran into vendors and manufacturers all week long, had some good conversation with a few at the bar. From the sounds of it, it should be a decent show. I was hoping to get into American Shooters (great indoor range if you've never shot there) but it's a clusterfuck with SHOT going on.
BTW, I went straight gangsta NPH with some BFLs on some hookers, so keep an eye out for my brand. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Going with something everyone knows and should be able to find.....Outback is right around the corner from the Sands front entrance. Tommorrow, wednesday, night at 6:30. i will have on one of the black TNHTF Tees that YukonBoy made a little while back. 3411 S Las Vegas Blvd is the address
Want to encourage any of you guys to come out and eat with us...always good to meet fellow arfcommers abroad. |

I'M ALIVE....I actually just got back to Jackson about an hour ago. Give me a little while to unwind and a after action report will be coming.
Been a while since I partied like i did this weekend. As a side note...for a town with the reputation that Vegas has for making every guests stay as comfortable and painless as can be they sure are stingy with the wifi. My hotel, that i was already paying to stay in, wanted $11.99 a DAY to access its wifi system.

Keeps the common folk from tying up the resources and staying on the "free" casino floor.. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The $12 or $15 advertised wifi charge is for those who aren't staying in the hotel. I've never paid a wifi fee at hotels I was staying in. |

They are a professional outfit. No new pocket .380's i would reccomend but Ruger and Kel-tec are still cranking them out. They are actually pretty good. For the .22 lr if you are not 100% on CMMG look at Umarex....their .22lr was pretty immpressive. |
