Yes he is on the list, he is certified and legit there are two people that teach it down there, Doug and Scott they are brothers. Give them a call and find out when the next class is. |

I want a CCW too but I haven't gotten my Utah DL yet :( been too busy moving into our new house, and work work work at our new internet start up. I got to get busy on that being a homeowner in Utah but not having a license to PROVE I am a resident is cramping my gun buying style and CCW permit getting. When I get my DL gunstores in SLC will have to file restraining orders on me I am going on a buying spree. 8 years in Cali severely limited my gun armory. |

Dougs Shoot N Sports on Redwood and like 4700 Southish give you the class for free with purchase of a new pistol. |
I wouldn't overpay for a pistol just to get a free CCW class... |

I haven't heard anyone mention it yet, but my brother-in-law and I took ours through Mitch Vilos (or Villos?) by Bountiful. Does it in his house and includes some brief instruction and live fire practice at a nearby range as well. Takes longer than a typical class but I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. He does like to show off a bit though ;-) Not that I mind. |
