I have never been to David's Gun Room. Would safes like a Liberty safe be cheaper buying it directly from Libertys website or buying it from Davids? I have heard Liberty usually has a small black friday sale.. Don't know if Davids usually has something like that.
I'm in the Canton area so i was wanting to get an idea before driving to Norcross. |

That's where I purchased my safe. He delivered and set it up for me. When I moved to my new house, they moved it for me. You may pay a little more, which I don't know that for certain, but I can tell you that they take care of their own. There was a cost to move it and I was happy to pay for their service.
I do know they will move any safe too. A+ for them |

I was pleased with the entire process. The delivery and install was worth every single penny. |

It's been almost twenty years since I bought my safe from them and had it delivered to the apartment I lived in back then, but I'll be looking at what they have available when I buy another one to supplement that first one (and probably pay them to move the first one to an upper level of my home and put the new one where it was). |

Go dig around in the safe forum a bit. Anything past a fatboy jr is low bang/buck with liberty as there are better options out there. The safe movers have done moves/installs for many members here. They may have access to a used tool rated safe. Safe forum? Did I miss that on ARFcom? Or is it a different site? mini the market for my first one and would like insights as well. Costco has some that look to be decent with delivery included, but the fine print defines that as curbside ONLY. David's will bring in and install for additional $ - correct? |

A1abdj is a safe servicer / installer / restorer. Between the two of them there is nothing that goes without a correct answer. It would be on par with having mike dillon and Richard lee fielding questions in the reloading forum. |

Thanks all yes been reading the safe forum for quite a while. A 2Kish Sturdy was probably my target. I didn't know if Davids could tempt me out of it.
Putting it on a second floor (above garage). Have intended area now supported with a 6x6 across and to the ground because worried about weight. I'd buy bigger than that if i could but more than 1000 lbs empty scares me. |

Yes a safe purchased there or any other safe you purchase - they move, install, etc. They offer to leave it on the pallet or bolt it to the floor. I do not know what they charge. |
