Ok, so I found myself inside the local Half Price Books store tonight...

Now I know what you're thinking, "Half Price Books? That place is rife with obama voters and self described intellectuals that don't bathe" or "Obsolete, books are for people who know how to read".

Well sure I'll concede those points, but I thought you guys might like to see what I found amongst the gently pre-owned magazines...

Five issues of Small Arms Review, all from 2010, priced at only fifty cents each!

So while some houseguests may be forced to browse through the latest Cosmo, Oprah, or Home & Garden magazine, mine are going to find SAR magazines chock full of interesting articles, machinegun goodness & kickass photos on my coffee table.

That, my friends, is 100% literary gold.

It's very similar to Bookman's, you can trade your old books, etc. for store credit, they'll appraise them while you browse.
They also sell audiobooks, dvd's, video games, cd's, records, paperback & hardbound books.
Generally all the books are for sale at half the original price, some are much less.

I went to the location at:

2102 E. Camelback Rd

Reservist, they have dvd's for $3, a decent selection of military history and world history books. I stop in occasionally to see if they've gotten any Rhodesian history books in, but they never do. I'm an avid reader of that particular topic. There was a middle aged lady in there, she rated neither cougar nor milf. Lol.
