[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Security Systems

I am thinking about getting a security system for the home.
I want one that is motion activated and also night and day capable one that is clear enough to read license plates.
I have seen systems on the net. that are wireless and also only use a DVR to record with no computer needed!
What would you recomend and where is a good place in Indiana to get one of these systems? I plan on installing it myself.

You must live in Gary.

I am guessing it would be cheaper to order from the internet, I do not know of any store locally in NWI.
