Anybody from the MTARNG got some insight on Walsh?  My MT Guard experience from '96-'97 is just a little bit dated...

I only met him once or maybe twice when we had training in Helena, but one of my best friends worked with him a lot.  I think they went to CGSC together.  He uses words like "politician", "blame shifter", and "ass kisser" when he talks about him, and those are the nice words.  This latest "oops" doesn't surprise me a bit, but I'm pissed that he's now trying to claim some PTSD type of issue.  Nothing like casting doubts or making light of real soldiers with real PTSD.  Hopefully the War College will investigate and pull his Masters degree.  IF (notice big IF) they do, I think the Army ought to go after his pay because without that education he would have been ineligible to attain his star.  Taking back fraudulently earned pay would be a nice change of pace.

He never got his star, Federally speaking, due to his abuse of office findings I posted above.

ETA: I think that makes more hay than the plagiarism thing, since it really shows his character, or lack thereof.

Yes he did, as I suspected he would.  The question is, who are they going to get to run, and how can they do against Daines?

I would say Daines walks away with it now no matter who they swing up there.

Hate to quote myself, but this guy quits the race but remains in the Senate seat to which he was appointed?  What a load of B.S.  At this point Daines should get appointed so he has more seniority than any other new senators, which is best for Montana.  Daines is going to win this thing unless his plane gets struck by lightning.

Who is this Roger Roots you guy you speak of?  Never heard of him i guess although i do live in a place where not a lot of people come to visit.  Daines did in early may but i havent seen anybody stop out here.  Lol the Dems are probably crying in their cheerios .
