Just  heads up that Sheels at Village Point has about 50 of the 120 round American Eagle m855 for $55 in case you want some and don't want EE or Gunbroker pricing.  $0.45 a round for you doing the math.  This was as of 11:15 am.  The 150 round packs were sold out but actually were .01 a round more.  Not sure why.

Since when ever is $.45 a round a good deal? M855 is not nearly that good of a round to command that price. M193 has superior terminal ballistics to m855, but all military FMJ is not really that accurate. About the only thing good going for m855 is slightly better accuracy out of 1-7 twist barrels due to the length of the bullet. The m855 round is a very poor armor piercing bullet, not like the m995 round with a tungsten core. There is a reason why the marine corps is using mk318 mod 0 and m855a1 is replacing m855 across most of the branches. For around $.50 a round, I would suggest you buy match ammo for around the same price instead.

Everyone's worried about getting their mits on this average ammo.
The whole point is that it was cheap.
The priority should be stopping this policy from being enacted, not chasing over priced m855.

As a segment of society, gun owners are easily manipulated.
It's ridiculous.

Exactly, M855 isn't worth the price at all. Pretty much any 5.56 is better than m855.
