It depends a lot on who's working behind the FedEx counter.  I had lots of headaches and after 3 trips to them I gave up.  The pkg has to be clearly marked ORM-D on it if using FedEx.  I don't think the USPS allows shipping ammo and not sure about UPS.

I ve never shipped ammo, but seems like it shouldnt be that difficult, but then again, everyone has our best interest in mind. And I dont disagree , with the amount of dumb things that get sent through the mail.

Out of curiosity what ammo are you selling ? Might be interested myself or my buddy.

To ship ammo, you will need to go to a UPS customer service center.  NOT the local UPS store.  You can search on their site for UPS Customer Service Centers.  Find the one nearest you.  You will need to print the following lable and put it on the box so it is visible.  Take the package to the UPS CSC, and tell them it is ammo and where you want it shipped to.  Thats it.

good luck.

I notice you said FTF in Flint.  Well I would advise against going to the UPS hub off of Bristol Rd.  I went there with a pre-paid shipping label and ormd stickers from Wolf (it was crappy ammo that I was returning to Wolf) and they refused to ship it.  It was only after calls directly from Wolf to UPS customer service that they changed their mind, but it was a major PITA cause I had to make a trip back to the hub.

One more request fro what ammo you are looking to sell?  Ecspecially around here, there should be no need to have to ship any, there are enough ammo whores here, we'll take it off your hands gladly.

I had to return some ammo that was shipped to the police department.  It was the wrong stuff for some reason, I can't remember.

Anyway, went to the UPS counter at a local store with the ammo still in the box that it came in via UPS.

They lady behind the counter said that UPS did not ship ammo??!?!!?

I pointed out the obvious fact, that I had just got the box via UPS the day before with the original contents, and the fact that I get ammo all the time from the brown truck.

Long aggravating story short, she called someone and accepted the box.

+1 on taking it to a proper UPS place.
