I guess the guy hadn't kept up with "current events" . . . .

Police took him into custody with "little resistance" . . . .

The DA had confidence that he'd definitely be "charged" with the crime . . . .

This is sure the “spark” some interest down at the jailhouse . . . .

Quoting his defense attorney:

The charges against my client were not well grounded.

I am keeping my client insulated against the death penalty.

My client was shocked at how dangerously exposed he was to callous humor.

Was he using a "hi-powered" defense attorney?

There is nothing I like more than a criminal getting what they deserve while in the commission of a crime.

If he indeed did get nailed with 6000-7000volts twice....He will wish he was dead because you won't know the extent of his injuries for another 4 days. he should have been cooked from the inside out literally.

I have been an electrican for 20+yrs, and have seen exactly what can happen when you get nailed with that much juice.
It is not pretty either...

He should have died on the pole that day, fucking copper thieves.

Wow, the guy failed at Darwin.  The last one that happened in Austin, a witness said she saw a man lit on fire running down the street before he died.  Now that's a winner!

Wasn't it around a year ago that a guy doing the same thing just south of the river died from his injuries?

Getting charged with Ohm's Law?
