Got woken up with an automated text from the CSUPD around 4:30 this morning saying there had been a shooting on campus...
Details are still pretty scarce but here is a link to the Denver Post story  http://www.denverpost.com/headlines/ci_16020686

I will try to update this as info comes.  Stay safe fellow Rams.

ETA: This is the CSU website that will be updated throughout the day http://www.safety.colostate.edu/

Thanks for the heads up.  Interesting- the person was shot in Fort Collins, then drove home to Broomfield before reporting it?

when I read this story on the news this morning, I jumped/came to the conclusion, it was a drug deal gone wrong.  dirt bag on dirt bag.

This is how I took the story but I'm trying not to jump to any conclusions.

Story is full of  but at any rate someone shot someone else on campus which is still a cause for concern.

A cause for concern and a good reason students can't CCW.

/sarc

These incidents prove what we all know about gun-free zones.  In this case, it probably was a drug deal in the early morning.  Had any students been there who knows what would have happened.

I know this is an older thread but i thought i'd bump it with a bit of new info.  Seems they caught the shooter.  Neither the shooter or the the guy that got shot were CSU students
