Are the SE MI DNR ranges still using the stupid single load only rule?

Pontiac Lake allowed 5 cartridges per mag last year, and I heard rumors that Bald Mountain allowed 5 or 6 cartridges per mag as well. I'm talking about a range-wide rule and not "I know the range officer so he lets me..." type of thing.

Single load is where they make you load a max of 1 cartridge per mag on semi-autos. They apparently don't give a crap about bolt-guns. Needless to say, I won't give any of my money to single-load only ranges.

Join a private out door club that is gun friendly (unlike the indoor ranges in the area) and blast all you want.

I want to take my dad or other family members shooting as much as possible, and that translates to roughly $100 per person in annual dues. DNR only wants $4-$5 per person per day. I've limited myself to only 1 or 2 range sessions per year.

Have to find a gun club, some allow you to at least bring immediate family on your membership.  Some allow you to bring any guests as long as you are with them.

Island Lakes is 6 rounds max, I was there this year a few times already.

Bald Mountain was 1 round load max last year and I will not go back.  That and the range nazi was a butthead.

Stop out to the Wayne county Raccoon Hunters club in Romulus.  They will have what your looking for, at $75.00 per year.
We shoot IDPA and IPSC practice every Wednesday, and the membership person is there to tell you all the benefits your $75.00 will get ya.
