I've had three suggestions now and they all start approx at 49,5 grains N150 and end at 55,5 grains. That's with a COL of 84 mm and with a bullet practically the same shape and length* as the little austrian number we have. in order not to get a too high Miller Sg number i'll start at the low 2600 fps' and work my way up.
It's for 300 meter match shooting only, so no need to go up 168 MK's anyway. Besides, the Hirt's were cheapish, 15p a pop. Thx to all that suggested loads. *the Lapua 150 grain lockbase/150 grain Sierra MK Soren |
