Just wanted to take a moment and tell everyone about my experience with Snipe Custom Arms. First, it was my distinct pleasure to meet both George and Christian. Both of these gentlemen are truly passionate about firearms, and it shows in their customer service and work. I had them do some work on an SPR build I'm working on, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After spending some time with both Christian and George I was able to learn that both of these men are engineers by trade. Upon hearing this I was that much more assured  in the work they performed. If anyone is looking for a top tier gunsmith in Kentucky, look no further than Snipe Custom Arms.

Might have been a good idea to mention where they are located.    The city/town is as important or more so than the state.    But, it also seems they have left the same off their web site.   Rather strange really.

Anyway, I found a listing for : Snipe Custom Arms, LLC, Georgetown, KY.        Maybe that is the same place?

Seems like a shill. Reads like a public access commercial.

This.

What they offer, their backlog, prices, many pictures of work performed say as much as anything.  I don't care what the names of the employees are so long as they're honest straight shooters and do good work.

This is them to a T. Check out their site and contact them  if you've got questions. And as far as backlog goes, they opened up on a typical no working day to accommodate my busy schedule. That's going above and beyond.

I know George and Christian personally and they've done several barrel jobs for me previously.

Christian did the contouring on the White Oak Armament barrel I built this gun with.

He took the rifle gas 18" barrel that looked like this originally:

And made it exactly as I needed it for that gun.  The write up is here.

A good friend of mine in Montana also sent his Shilen 6.5 Grendel barrel to them for contouring and this is the finished product.

The original barrel had no threads and the gas block journal was sticking past the Centurion rail system on my friend's gun.  They contoured it exactly as he wanted and then bead blasted it.

They do excellent work.  You'll also find some links to them cutting one of my Noveske 16" barrels to 7.7" because I wanted a custom look for that SBR.  There are exactly 3 companies in this industry I'd send a Noveske barrel to be cut by.  They're also about to make a KAC 16" carbine barrel an 11.5" for me.  That upper is going to actually finish as a factory SBR made by Quentin Defense.
