We're thinking about heading up the Rim Monday to do some snowshoeing around the Forest Lakes area. Any suggestions on good area's to hike up there where we can also get decent parking?

Just at the top of the rim is FR300, turn left(or west), if you can, You have a few hundred feet until the gate that closes it off, park there, get out and have fun.
What kind of shoes you running? If it is still soft and fluffy on Monday, some of the smaller shoes will suck! |
