I stepped outside to walk the dog, saw it was snowing and told her to hold it in a while

Makes sense. People driving less = global cooling.

No really I don;t believe that but I do think we are in a long cold winter.

It flaked & hailed here in Morgan County on Monday afternoon while I was mowing the back. Every year I get the tractor ready and put the blade on it, we get very little snow.

This year I will wait to put the blade on so we get some serious snow!!! I love hunting w/ snow on the ground, it just adds to outdoor expierence. Or maybe I just miss Michigans winters!?!?

The Farmers Almanac predicts a wetter and colder winter than normal.....

We got some pretty heavy snow in St. Joe County for a bit.  Created some lovely slop to drive in for a while, it was pretty though.  I do enjoy it when it snows.  The kids were really excited to go out in it.

I saw a few flakes when I was out smoking on the 26th.  It's too damn early for that.  Snow should only fall between thanksgiving and valentine's day.

It's George Bush's fault. Thankfully, once our savior, Obama gets elected, he can stop and reverse Global Warming in an hour after he's sworn in.

I have faith in and welcome our new Socialist Overlord.

The caterpillars are very dark this year, mostly black.

The seeds in the persimmons have spoons on them instead of forks or knives (Whatever that means).

The loons are migrating earlier than normal this year.

According to the local farmers at church, these are all signs of a cold winter.
