It flaked & hailed here in Morgan County on Monday afternoon while I was mowing the back. Every year I get the tractor ready and put the blade on it, we get very little snow.
This year I will wait to put the blade on so we get some serious snow!!! I love hunting w/ snow on the ground, it just adds to outdoor expierence. Or maybe I just miss Michigans winters!?!? The Farmers Almanac predicts a wetter and colder winter than normal..... |

The caterpillars are very dark this year, mostly black.
The seeds in the persimmons have spoons on them instead of forks or knives (Whatever that means). The loons are migrating earlier than normal this year. According to the local farmers at church, these are all signs of a cold winter. |
