The advocates go for the feel good legislation against "lawful gun owners" because the sociopaths/criminals WILL shoot the advocates, the law abiding won't...doesn't mean they wouldn't like to

Perhaps their reasioning is if guns are lawfully aquired, then those who couldn't procure legally would be supplied thru ignorance or theft by those who could...it's all F-U.

As far as nj law makers are concerned, it does not matter who the laws effect. It is their sole goal and purpose is to outlaw firearm ownership all together. This way instead of having extra cash to purchase firearms, you can use it to pay the tax increases to support our resident population of s-bags and low lifes. At the same time disarming the citizens of nj while other states arm themselves to the teeth.
