Realize generaly the people that really bug you are the same people who will go through life having an endless series of epiphanies about why they are not creative, happy or productive. Never having the final epiphany that the reason none of their dreams came true for the simple reason that THEY are in them.
People think I have a thick skin, I just realize that I am MUCH better off than many people and that I realize that is sufficient to restore my happy day feeling instead of getting an argument with an idiot. |
| Sorry for not saying more. No internet at the house currently, and no power. Friend is bringing over a propane heater so I can try to get the temperature up. In getting things dug out of the shed and running a power cord from the cottage to the main house, ended up with a bit of frostbite in my feet and nearly so, in my hands. Tomcat is pretty old and not taking the situation very well, though it looked like he was feeling a bit better last night, and this morning. |
