Not sure if I have asked this before here or not. Anyone know where a ATV can get on the River between Highway 4 and I-44 (Tri-City) area? I think I can at the Bridge on Hwy 4 but not sure if I can get to it without getting busted on the way there or back. Really want to find a local place to ride.

FWIW, there are people on the Cimarron on Hwy 74 all the time. They access it on the south west side of the river bridge.
Get hold of the old man, I'm sure he can get you on the river at some other places.  They use to get on the Cimarron on the north side of Guthrie on Hwy 77 too.
Not sure about if they are now. It's been awhile since I went that way.

Slyhunter I know this is far for you but there is a place at Cameron that is putting on 4-wheeler races and small motor cross events. I don't know what the prize payoff's have been. But you might want to check into if you are into that sort of thing.

Come by the office tomorrow morning after 8.  Our mechanic should
be there by then and he has been in the river all over the place.
He told of putting in between Yukon and OKC, but I don't know where.

Stopped by and was told you were out and about. I'll try to come back across this afternoon.

River access is getting more and more harder to come by, at least down this way.  One of the reasons I stopped riding. Having a $9000 machine setting in the out building does me no good if I cant go and ride. Access at the bridge on hwy 99 is all but shut down. Mainly since one of the locals ran a bunch of collage kids off the road a few years ago, killed one of them, crippled another then he went and got himself sent off to prison, which he deserved in this case. But after that incident access started to shut off all around here. Now a days unless you know a land owner with land on the river, good luck.

Saw a place on 281 (not the spur) north of 40 near that long old iron bridge where it looked like you could get access but the river was so high I'm not sure want to risk it.
