Any of you guys going to the Springdale Show this weekend?? I'll be there about 9:30 on Saturday lookin for a double stack 1911. Para-Ord, Springer HiCap or STI. I need something to build on and keep me busy for more than 10 minutes.

I'll be down that way Saturday early afternoon doing the Springdale gun show, Ozark Armory, and Sportsman's Warehouse.

I would order either one from a local dealer.  I have never seen anything at one of the Springdale shows that I couldn't buy cheaper at a local shop.  Sturm's is an STI dealer and can also get Para's.  Ozark Sportsman in Tontitown should be able to get you a Para but I am not sure about the STI.

Not to be taken negative, but I do not buy from either place. I have found Para HiCap 45's for $600 or less at the Springdale show. The guy with all the AR accessories had an SVI that came from Ozark Armory for $1300 with 5 mags with extended base pads. I'm sure I'll find what I want, if not, Bill can get it for me at Ozark Armory. I like only one gentleman that owns Ozark Sportsman, and he's the reason I keep my range membership there. I've been shooting there for the last 3 or 4 years, and have never once bought a firearm from them. If the other guy would sell out and leave, I might do a little business there. Other than private sales or trades, anything I need FFL wise comes from Ozark Armory. I also do business with a friend/co-worker of mine, he owns a shop in Siloam Springs, called Arkansas Outdoor Supply. He's been a home based FFL for quite a while and just opened his shop a couple months ago. He's also on gunsamerica.com selling his AR15's.

I get almost everything from Knesek guns in Van Buren. They are a class 3 dealer and will order ANYTHING you want. he has Barretts, chey-tac, armalite, colt, HK, etc. They are the discreet shop, theyre not out to get rich they just enjoy what they do. I just go to the gun show looking and then have Kneseks get it for alot cheaper.

I think I looked these guys up before and heard they were not exactly open to the public?? Where are they located in Van Buren? Hours? I'd love to take a look sometime.

I saw the very first certified, unquestionable Smokin' deal ever at the show on Sunday. The guy back in the back closest to the snack bar had police turn in Beretta 92FS pistols for $299 each, cash only.
Just my luck. I can't shoot the Beretta 92 for shit, it's too big for my hands. I was still tempted though.

Oh, and +1 for Ozark Armory. I've bought a lot of stuff from them. I got my used (sort of, under 100 rounds) XD45 for $429 there.
Did anybody see the guy with the really, really, REALLY used Glock 17 First Generation? The finish was nearly worn off the damn slide-really, it was all but completely gone- and the guy admitted "yeah, it's had a lot of rounds through it". Priced at $425, but he came down to $400....and was pissed when I walked away.

I saw those Beretta 92FS semi autos. He had 3 or 4 stacks of them 5 to 7 guns high one on top of the other. Looked pretty nice for the money.

I've been looking for a 1st gen Glock for a long time now. I seen it in Bentonville at that show and I seen it again here at Springdale. I offered him $375 and he said no. I'd pay $400 or even the $425 if it had the original box and paperwork. It does have the original mags also. Date code was late 1987, as I really want a 1986.
