Honestly, I'm not trolling.  After my experiences first had with the troopers, I don't trust the majority of them.  That said, there are a few good guys on here that might be of use in that thread, or at least give some info.

That said, I fully expect the banhammer and lock to descend before that happens.  (as they are probably still at work)

I know you're not trolling, I've been watching the shenanigans in GD.  Good slam by the trooper.

I did not expect the thread to go nuclear retard.  Seriously, I don't get the absolute vehement hate some of those guys are spouting.  I had a really bad experience and I've largely let it go.  Most of those guys will never have anything like that happen, yet go off the deep end.

Serious derp

Holy shit.

I wonder if the accidental discharge thread in AR Discussions will get this good?

Looks like he reacted to her reaching around moving around behind his back and reaching for something at head/neck level.

I don't blame him for pushing her back but don't agree with the arrest.
Yes I was LEO and have seen tons of big dudes give women a break and get their asses kicked by them.

That was a pretty chicken shit move by the trooper, I've only encountered one here in Juneau and that was at the boat launch during the salmon derby last year, extremely friendly and gave my kid a ice cream coupon for wearing his life jacket.

I would hope that some disciplinary actions happen for the trooper that shoved her, that is no way to act.

Its easy to judge off a shitty cell phone video?
If she had put her hand on his gun would that change your mind?
Is it possible that there is more than meets the eye?

My 2 encounters with troopers was entirely professional and courteous- not too mention I didn't get a ticket.

That said, there's dickheads in any profession- cops just get more attention from the haters.

Why would she have grabbed his gun? The situation was over, he was leaving. Yeah that makes sense that she would decide to try to grab his handgun and go suicidal on the troopers. Please. I highly doubt that there was not a rifle somewhere in the house, seems to be a more successful approach to grab a rifle as they were outside.

Yes if she had grabbed at his gun, that would completely change my mind. However I don't see that.
I don't see a jury seeing it that way either.

People do stupid shit all the time just to be pricks
Play stupid games win stupid prizes
I guarantee you there is much more to this than you saw in a short cell phone video
