Cannot make that trip, but this one is doable! Shot Heard Around NY On January 11th, 2014 (The Anniversary of the NY UNsafe Act) ALL LAW ABIDING and REGISTERED gun owners are requested to meet at a SAFE and ALLOWABLE area to DISCHARGE ONE SHOT from an APPROVED, LEGALLY owned and operated firearm of one's choosing at the stroke of NOON. PLEASE remember, this MUST be done in accordance with ALL local and federal laws and in a LEGAL manner, in an area where a person is ALLOWED to discharge a firearm, eg. your local shooting, hunting, fishing, game club or firing range, (preferably and open air Range). This event is still on! Organizers have decided against getting a permit and holding a rally because it would mean standing outside in the cold of a "free speech zone."
Instead this will be a roving protest situated in and around the Empire State Plaza and Capitol building. |
