I was living in an apartment 7 years ago and had a revolver stolen by the maintenance man. I gave the police his name and nothing came of it. Three years later I get a call "Mr. Rock?...yes...this is det. So and so with the pd.... Yes sir?...i understand you reported a revolver stolen a few years ago....yeah I did....i regret to inform you that we have recovered your gun.....
Me: regret? Him: yes it was used in a suicide. Me: Ok.....when can I come get it? Him: uh are you sure you want it back? Me: why not? I didn't kill anyone with it.
