The distance from the objective lense of the scope to the FSB will not be an issue, most times the FSB will just be a dark blur in the bottom of the scope when properly set up. Translated for those who ask stupid questions |

Translated for those who ask stupid questions I was cutting him some slack. We share the same name so I gotta take it easy on the guy from time to time. |

People worry WAY too much about the FSB...
I used an ACOG for 15 freaking months in Iraq and never once did I think..."God I wish I had a flip up front site! This FSB is driving me nuts!" You really don't even notice it at all... Guess the front flip up is more tacticool... |

And I agree....don't stress over that front sight. It won't stop you. |

What's the story on that?
Not my pic: http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/3829/pa140194.jpg With this acog, the FSB is clearly evident. However, since the shooter is focusing on the target, which he has centered, the FSB isn't a big issue. Two things: 1. I'm not Bradd but the BUIS in probably in front of the ACOG as 4x ACOGS have shitty eye relief. You generally have to pull them so far back on the receiver that there is not a lot of room left over for a BUIS. I've never seen someone use a fixed one in front of an ACOG but I guess it works. If the optic ever went TU then Bradd would flip the arms levers and remove it. BUIS is already up. 2. I'm nowhere near an optical enginerd but I'm pretty sure the human eye and a camera lens see magnification differently. That picture should not be totally representative of how a person would see through it. |

The FSB in that pic is way more noticable than mine is through my TA33. |
