I was at Dicks Sporting store today looking for some new running shoes. I try to look in their gun department when I am there. Have found good deals there before on ammo and some rifles but been a while since finding any such deals. I was surpised to see about a dozen AR rifles for sale. They had 2 or 3 M&P AR's, a few basic Bushmaster ARs, one Stag AR, and a few .22 ARs. They also had a GSG-22 MP5 want to be clone. The one that surpised even more was they had a TROY AR. I knew Troy started making ARs but had never seen one before.
I had never seen any ARs at Dicks before. |

Cool, I have never noticed a gun Department in the Roanoke store.. I'll have to look and see if there is one Sidd, check the very back left corner. Unless they have moved it in the last month or so. I stopped in the C'burg store last night and picked up a brick of CCI Standard Velocity 22. I have a heck of a time finding anyone else that keeps it in stock so I was very pleased to see it. The guy working said they had 10 bricks under the counter. |
