Anybody know of a gun shop within 50 miles of Winston-Salem or Greensboro that sells surplus ammo, both 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R? I have thought about buying one of the 440rd Polish "Spam Cans" of 7.62x54R from J&G Sales but $28.00 shipping is a bit high even though it prob cost that much to ship it. I just wonder if any of you know of a good local shop that sells 100-500rds of the surplus for a decent price.

7.62x39 is as scarce as hen's teeth right now. 7.62x54r should be easy to pick up at the next gun show.

I'm in Gun Rack a couple times a week. Bought a few rifles from him, but last week he was out of 7.62x39 and said it would be a while probably before anymore came in. And he only had about 8 boxes of 7.62x54R left and I bought 4 of those.

Gun Country in Mt Airy has a few spam cans of 7.62x54. Don't know how much he wants for it, tho.
