Approx. 4500 rounds, give or take a couple dozen? I can't wait to fill up a couple .50 cal cans this fall with .223 and 9mm. About 2K of that is loaded to 23.5grns on some free FC brass, wolf primers with some real cheap Winchester bullets = Blasting ammo The rest is loaded to 25.5grns on LC brass, CCI #41 primers with Honady bullets = Match and training ammo I'm working on getting what I need for 9MM now |

You used 16 pounds of powder in 4500 rounds of 5.56 ? OK maybe I did use just a little more But like I said about 2K of this ammo was loaded with only 23.5 grns So 1LB will get ya just a little more
Do the math http://www.mecreloaders.com/PowderBushingBar/BushPowder.asp ETA You don't think I'm going to sit here and count all that do you |

I need to find time to start reloading ... It will take a lot of your time in the beginning. Depending on how much you want to shoot will determine how much money you will put into it to start. Reloading is not for everyone though. For me this was the only way I could afford to have all the ammo I needed, wanted, what's the difference " The end justifies the means" |

Been there done that. I worked being on call 24/7 for more years then I can remember You might want to think about getting a good friend to go in on a press with then. Sharing the cost would also help bring down ammo prices for you faster. Or you could start buying component's now to off set the price of your reloads later. Maybe find someone with a progressive press that will let you load your own components on Quoted:

| My buddy has a Dillon press, all he needs now is a scale and he'll be good to go. Not sure if he has many primers or powder though, but I looked last night at the cost of using Lake City once-fired brass, Hodgdon H335, CCI #41 primers and Hornady 55gr FMJ bullets and oh my... I think I'll just buy components and roll my own from here on out once I'm able. It's a lot cheaper. |

. I had to do some beta testing with some of it last Saturday so there's less now than before. I must have burned up 300 to 400 rnds
