Anyone know where I can buy just one, locally?

Preferably with a few more threads than in this pic, and a nut for it too. (to install on a freefloat handguard, for mounting Harris bipod)

Everyone wants to sell me a whole package of them, (mail order), and I only need one.

I have three, all longer than the one pictured but they had course threads, some are 10-32 NFmachine but these i have are course made to go into wood forstock.

I have used them with a backing plate inletted under the barrel for strength.

If somebody from the north is going down sunday I could send them along.

Why wouldn't you just buy the quantity then you would have them when I lose one and need it?

Thanks Strat. I've got a few extras of the auger-thread type too, but I need the machine threads for this application. Thanks for the generous offer.

Jafo, I used to have a collection of misc gun parts, and it was overwhelming to say the least. I usually found the part I was looking for just about two weeks after I gave up looking for it and ordered a new one. The rest was just clutter at best, so when 1GR had his shop, I dropped it all off there, and we used the money that came from it to fund lunches.

Wish he was still there.... my shop is getting cluttered again. There's a fine line between 'stuff and shit'!

I bought mine at my local gun shop, it had the stud and the backing plate to mount to the AR15 handguards ( I just flipped it over to use in my OLY free float tube) made by harris...I dont know who you have local though..

I do know you can get them where you buy harris bipods for the most part..

sorry I could not be much more help.

Judging by 1GUNRUNNER's personal shop (a while back at the garage sale) I bet he's wishing someone had a shop where he could drop off some stuff too.

psst...  if he has another garage sale you could just act like you are shopping around and discreetly leave stuff on his tables. I wouldn't make more than two trips back to your truck or he might catch on.

Bad part of it is, some of that shit in his garage sale were things from I'd unloaded on him years before.
