System message/thread lock > Washington

It would be nice if a Mod locks a thread and makes a comment about the thread that they do so with their profile showing, so that said comment can be addressed via IM. Hiding behind a system message doesnt allow for redress.

Ummmm if you look at the bottom right of the system message you can see who's locking your threads.

I'm pretty sure OdT isn't hiding from you.

FWIW, this is the way the software works... I have no choice when locking a thread.
