TN Firearms Association is ramping up their efforts for their PAC. Given their strong support in the Maggart/Rogers race, this is critical this year, coupled with the Prez election, of course.
The TN Republican Party has given we gun owners the cold should once they became the majority party in both houses, IMO. By knocking Maggart out of her seat, it should make Harwell & Ramsey sit up & take notice that we gun owners are not 2nd class citizens. Obviously it should help bring the Safe Commute Act to a floor vote, (which is all the TFA asked for) instead of keeping it bottled up in committee. At last night's meeting, our own TNredneck (Jim Garrett) took the lead with a donation of over $200. John Harris has challenged TFA members to donate what they can, but has requested $200 per member. (Jim was kind enough to pick up my slack due to my employment situation.) 
While the TFA has donated in the past, it has become an ugly reality from the pols currently that TFA has GOT to step-up with PAC $$$$. Phone calls, e-mails & all that are one thing, but PAC donations are THE thing to grab a pols attention. Keep in mind that those opposing the Safe Commute Act include FedEx, who is not a shrinking violet. We TN gun owners have GOT to step up, even if not all are TFA members. Thanks for reading this.
