[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tactical Training?

I am really interested in getting some quality time with my two rifles (AR15 and SCAR-L). But I also don't want to just be throwing rounds down range for no reason, I have had no formal training since I left the Army and would really like to get better. Does anyone, in the ABQ area, run free training classes or shooting courses? My girl Alison and I would love to learn all we can to be better prepared for anything. If anyone is out there training let me know!

Or if anyone just wants to meet up at Calibers or something and shoot together / share training tips, I am available! I will pay for my own ammo and admission.

I would highly consider the magpul dynamics rifle DVD......

Would have to get a case of them. The DVDs are only good for a hit or two before you need a new target

Yeah I have watched all the videos, and I run dry drills at home all the time. I guess what I really want is to run a shoothouse and see how my skills are currently and see what needs improvement. If that makes sense
