| Anyone know where I can get some tannerite in the east valley? |
| I hear A&P nursery in Mesa sells the 34.5-0-0 nitrate that is the pure nitrate without the ammonium sulfate in it that wil allow you to make your own tannerite. Anyone know this for a fact? If so it is easy to make and cheap if you can get the 50 pound bags of nitrate. |

Will a 12 Gauge slug from a 28" barrel set it off? Sorry for thread hijack Nope. Stick with a fast rifle round - .223 is my personal choice. Quoted:

Much more potent than Tannerite and cheaper, too. Now where'd I put the video of that car exploding . . . . . |

No permit needed for AN, but the FBI DID request that retailers which sell AN to the public be wary of persons randomly asking for it, ask them if there isn't some other fertilizer that would better meet their needs, ask them what they are using it for, and report to the FBI any suspicious contact or purchase. If you order AN and are not clearly a farmer you should expect that the FBI has been notified and will jot it down in their records, even contact you. See below: Other Criminal Activity: 1-888-ATF-TIPS (1-888-283-8477)
Important: Agricultural retailers or anyone who encounters a stranger or suspicious person whom you suspect is purchasing ammonium nitrate fertilizer or other agricultural products for criminal purposes, please pay attention to the person's description and attire, attempt to discreetly obtain a vehicle license number, and immediately call 1-800-800-3855 or your nearest local law enforcement agency. While there are perfectly lawful uses of Ammonium Nitrate, you should be prepared for scrutiny to ensure your use is not criminal, and to explain in detail how your use is lawful. |

Hey, Rage....the day that bullets were whizzing past you....we had some tannerite there. Fun stuff. Yeah, I love tannerite! Once, we put 1lb under one of those blue plastic 55 gallon drums. Thing was like a rocket. It probably went 100' in the air. I just wish it was cheaper.
