| Is anyone here a member of the Temple Gun Club? If so, what are the meetings like, how often do the have shoots, types of shoots, and how many people show up to meetings/shoots? |

I joined earlier this summer. Do a web search for "Temple Gun Club" and your search engine will probably take you right to their home page. They're a good group of folks who meet on the first Monay night of each month (check webpage for time and location). I've been to a couple of meetings and there are normally 15-25 folks there. They run regular IDPA and Service Rifle / High Power type competitions. I think their IDPA shoots run about 15-20 guys - not sure about the high power. They've got a couple bays for pistol, a covered pistol line, a covered 100yd line, and uncovered 200 & 300yd lines. Just a couple of rules that are a bit restrictive - no fullauto fire and no shotguns, yep you read that right - no shotguns. Don't ask me why. |
