| was in Bowie around lunch today at the walmart and there was at least 2000 rounds of Fed bulk pack 9mm, about 1k fed bulk pack 223, a few fed box's of 22lr, tons of 45 federal, tons of 38, 357, and 40. Its the most stocked I have seen a walmart in a long time. They would only let me buy 3 box's of ammo so I went with the 9mm. |

So, just a note. my wife and i where able to find all calibers we where looking for the past weekend, 9mm,45,38,357.5.56, 7.62x39 and yes 22. that being said we did not buy any 22 as the price for 1,400 rds for $200. too rich for me! also found stores stocked with more weapons than i have seen in quite a while including ars/aks!

The Walmart in Grapevine had 4 of the 250 round boxes of 40 S&W on the shelf. It is not in the glass cabinet, but is on the bottom shelf underneath the cleaning and lubricating supplies. Sorry the price was not marked on the shelf. This was at approximately *;30 a.m..
This is the first bulk pack ammo that I have seen in this store in quite some time. This is the Walmart off of hwy 26 across from Academy sports. |

Umbrella Corp Weapons Research Group has some forged lowers in stock now. These are blems, but are *held to a higher standard than other blems in the industry*... $160 for the first, $220 for additional. Academy in San Angelo is keeping all of the 'hot item' ammo behind the customer service counter. I had no idea, and been checking almost every day and walking right past it. As of a week ago they had .223, 5.56, .308, x39, 22LR, .45 with a "one box of each type" limit, once per day.

The Walmart in Bedford off of 121 and Cheeksparger had 17HMR, 380 and 7.62X39 in stock this morning. There was quite a bit of all three in stock. This is as of 4/17/13.
ETA: The Grapevine Bass pro had 100 round boxes of 45 ACP. I believe it was remington and price was $ 51.XX something. I believe it was 230 grain ball ammo. They als had 38 special LRN 50 round boxes for $ 21.XX something. There was quite a bit of this ammo available at lunch time. |

walmart in new braunfels had about 10 boxes of winchester 5.56 for 12~$, 55 grain. I got 3 to shoot through my new build. as of yesterday late afternoon.
also had bunches of .40 and .270 |

| A buddy told me Nagels (in S.A.) had some primers last week, so I stopped by there today to see what they had, as I needed pistol primers. They had a bunch of primers. I bought 5k of Remington large pistol primers. They were $35.50 per 1k. I had been purchasing primers at the Powderhorn, but you're limited to 200 at a time, $4 per hundred. I was surprised Nagels had them at a 'reasonable' (current situation) price, with no limit. I didn't need powder or anything else. |

| Wal-Mart has been rocking lately. Getting in a lot of .22LR, 9mm, .40, and several varieties of 5.56/.223. It still all sells out in less than a day... but we are seeing a lot of CCI mini-mags coming in, and federal ammo shipments have been steady across the board. You just have to watch when the trucks show up, and know when each store typically puts out the ammo. |

I thought I read something on here that GT was suspending civilian sales of ammo due to the crunch, so they could continue to sell to LEOs and make sure they got their ammo. Maybe I mis-read? |

Just bought a 500 rd. case of Independence yesterday from them (Dallas), civilian purchase, BTW.
Started not to even go there, because of the leo statement on their site, they need to fix that for sure. Anyway, the Independence is going for $225.00 a case, and they had alot of it. |
