You are right - internet fraud sucks.. Know what really sucks, this site (AR15) removed the bad guy's name that I posted so other members dont do the same thing with this stupid knucklehead.. So much for protecting their paying members... User name means nothing on this site.. AR15 does not verify anything other then a email address.. Any person that posts a ad should be a paying member and anyone posting anything on EE should also be a paying member.. Should help curb some activity.. But we all learn |

Good luck man. Must be the week for fraud. Someone got my debit card info and started buying crap on the net...I discovered it after about $350 in transactions....got card cancelled. I hate thieves. Damn shame the guy did what he did. another angle: When he cashed the check they may have written his Tx Driver's license number on the check somewhere or some other identifying info...get the actual check from your bank.... |
| Don't forget the Postal Inspection Service if there was any mail activity involved. They will eventually get into action if you are persistent. I got a scumbag next door in lock-up for mail fraud and identity theft. He also screwed around nearly impacting my spouses security clearance at Ft. Hood. He was unable to come up with a very large bail and will be a client of the Federal System. The State of Texas will want to speak with him next. He was caught with a quantity of crystal meth on his person by the Harker Heights PD trying sneak out of the area, |

Norge1956 I was also taken by him. I paid him $1,250 for a LE6920. He claimed that he had purchased 3 of these. He told me about your deal with the check. He stated that he didn't want to deal with you and that he was going to return your check. He called me last Thursday to tell me that he had received my payment and that it would be out Friday (last week) or Monday of this week. I still have not received it. He does not return my phone calls or answer them. He does not return my e-mails. I have all of his contact information as well. Have you called the PD yet? Has he contacted you, have you recieved your rifle or your money? I just noticed this post today when I hadn't heard back from him. I'll send anyone his contact information that thinks they can help. I'll just post it here for everyone if it's not against the rules. Joe |

Well, thanks to Norge1956, I was able to obtain a tracking number to UPS. Texasm4, Jim, you sent me a USED Beretta M96. First you were supposed to send a Colt LE6920, NIB, for the $1,250 I sent you. Not a $400 USED Beretta M96. You need to make this right and ship the correct firearm. I have no use for a USED Berreta M96. I do not want a USED Berreta M96. I want the NIB Colt LE6920 that you are supposed to send to me. For one, the shipping weight on the item was 4.1 pounds. You can go to Colt's website and see that the rifle weighs 5.95 pounds by itself not including the box, mags, manual, and cleaning gear. I don't know what's going on, but we're going to get to the bottom of this. I will not accept the USED Berreta M96 that you sent. We all know that you are monitoring these posts. I have left you numerous voice mails and e-mails. You have not responded to any of these accusations, nor have you responded to any of our attempts to contact you. I will be in contact with the Missouri City Police Department tomorrow as well as the US Postal Service again. Joe |

Investigation is still ongoing, but they are waiting to see if I get the money refunded due to a recent contact.. I heard this guy a last week (via email) and he said he was gonna send me the rest of money.. Time will tell.. KCINSIDE case is still ongoing also.. |

You're so lucky. I can't believe he made good on yours. The only thing he's done for me is send me a POS Beretta. It's still at the gun shop. I'm not going to pick it up. But, the ATF will probably get him soon. Them or the US Postal Service. That's what I hear. Can't wait until they bust him! Norge1956, please send me your phone number again. Thanks. |
