Dear Friends, Thank you for all of your condolences and benevolence regarding the death of my dog Rocky. My Dog Rocky Died Today For a time I was mentally spent after his sudden death (I’m sure most of you know what I am talking about) and thank goodness I am finally coming out of it. When Rocky (who appeared to be a healthy dog) died suddenly on the afternoon of May 9th, I never thought that his passing would have elicited so many reactions from folks here on the board. After reading all of your posts (I still can’t believe how many individuals came out of the woodwork for me), and receiving e-mails; IM’s and phone calls I can’t thank you enough for your kindness. Some of you know me personally and some of you don’t know me at all. With that said, your responses spoke volumes to me about the makeup of yourselves here in the ARFcom community, and it illustrates who does and who doesn’t care about their fellow board members when they are down. Please know that all of your kind responses have helped me get through my loss, and rather than responding to each individual post I choose to personally thank those of you listed below all at once. I'm very sorry to hear that, . I have met Rocky and he was a great dog, excellent protector of the homestead, and family member that was loved and well taken care of.Our pets are family, dogs protect us, give us unconditional love and loyalty. Its very sad to loose a loved one, my prayers are with you and your family. God bless, and may Rocky rest in peace. Jim T. |
