Not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with Bangstick... other than having the word "brewery" in their title. Bangstick's dump is on the island in Minocqua, a mile or more away. |

| MINOCQUA - The Minocqua Town Board unanimously rejected Kirk Bangstad’s administrative review permit (ARP) for Minocqua Brewing Company at its meeting on the 21st due to unpermitted outdoor seating. The board, noting Bangstad’s absence and history of permit violations, required the application to be resubmitted as a conditional use permit or CUP. Oneida County planning director Karl Jennrich, despite initially considering it an ARP, advised processing it as a CUP for the proposed “Elizabeth’s Art Garden” outdoor feature. Concerns were raised about parking waivers and Bangstad’s outstanding fines. The motion to reject the ARP passed unanimously. |

It cannot survive on it's own, he relies on his grifting the liberals for donations to fight those evil northwoods redneck Republicans who revoked his license, to keep it open. He's been paying his staff from his PAC, calling their jobs at the brewery "organizing" for his PAC. Now that his fight for his business license is over... he doesn't need their "donations" anymore. |

According to the "Back The Badge Wisconsin" Facebook page (no link or proof posted), they claim "The owner of Minocqua Brewing Company, Kirk Bangstad has been officially added to the FBI watch list for threats to Trump and Federal Agents". No clue if it's true, but as unhinged as he is, it would not surprise me. |

I honestly think 96% of breweries are run by leftists. It just tends to draw that crowd (like most daycare teachers are women). The smart ones keep politics out of their business. | MINOCQUA - Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad pleading guilty to a minor disorderly conduct charge in Oneida County, stemming from an incident last June, in which he yelled profanities and displayed a lewd depiction of Lakeland Times owner Gregg Walker outside his business. The original charges—harassment, bail jumping, and disorderly conduct—were dropped to a disorderly conduct conviction. Bangstad accepted the plea deal, telling Judge Martha Milanowski he pleaded guilty despite viewing his actions as "political speech". The court ordered Bangstad to pay a $1,083 fine. Bangstad is also currently suing the Oneida County Planning and Development Committee over a denied permit. |

Bangstad, known for his outspoken political activism, also failed to qualify for Wisconsin's gubernatorial ballot earlier this year. The PAC previously came under scrutiny after former employees alleged they were paid with political committee funds rather than through the brewery. |
