It is early on, but things seem to be coming together, trying to get a layout for everything.....

The radios and other stuff will be in the front.

The solar charge controller, AA battery chargers,  12v outlets and fuse block in the rear....

So far, so good.  Next are the LED displays, inverters and fans....

1/27/12 Update

I now have all of the AA/AAA chargers online.  When I think about running electronic gear, SHTF, I have tried to get as much as possible running off of AA batteries.  Radios, lights, flashlights, weapon sights, etc. it all is going to need juice.  The two radios I usually run are a Garmin Rino 120, and a small Eaton AM/FM/shortwave.  Each of these radios takes 3 AA batteries, and run about 12-14 hrs. straight on a set.  My little Yarsu FT-60's eat AA's 6 at a time.  Add in an Eotech, a Fenix light, and what ever else I can use with battery apaters, and I am going to need a small pile of batteries each day(I estimate 12-16).  All of the chargers are powered by with the solar panels, or off a 12v power source, because there are going to be days, when I can't charge with the solar, batteries wear out, etc.  I looked around for smart battery chargers, because if you are not careful, you can fry up your rechargables with just one incorrect charging.  The downside to smart chargers is the cost.  They can range anywhere from $25-$100+.  I setteled on the La Cosse BC500.  This charger will test, condition, charge, and maintain at a trickle charge batteries as well as mix different brands, due to each battery being on it's own independent ciiruit in the charger.   It wa $28.95 from fleabay.  It is the most affordable smart charger I could find.  It comes with both 110 and 12v cords, and 2 batteries.  I hooked each charger up independently, so any part of it can be moved or replaced.  So, enough of the babling and on to the pics:

Next update, the other side.....

Lookin good man!

Thats one of those things I need to do... But I would spend a bunch of money on supplies and never do it, or set it on fire trying it.

Thanks guys.

I was hoping to have it done by the shake and bake drill by next Tuesday, but I don't think it will make it.

BTW, here's the info on the drill:
