Republican Rep. Andy Mayberry of Hensley and Democratic Rep. Harold Copenhaver of Jonesboro.

As if the state legislature didn't waste enough money and time, these two knuckleheads are trying to get a bill passed forcing ASU and UofA to play against one another.  Your tax dollars at work!

Such a thing is forbidden per ASU's bylaws/founding docs/whatever. I'm sure the Hogs have something similar.

They should go play the purple bears or something.

The demtard is from Jonesboro, the reptard is from down the road here. He doesn't have a facebook page sadly.

FWIW they are both probably representing their constituents.  I really can't fault them for that.  They are doing what they were elected to do...REPRESENT.   These are both state tax payer funded schools so fully within the purview of the House correct?  If not then this might change things.

Not that I agree or disagree.

The residents of Hensley are 99% methhead retards. The couldn't afford to go to the game if it was played.

I don't support legislation requiring it but I do think we should play once a year.

I really don't want to hear the crying from Jonesboro 8 years out of ten and the insane gloating the other two.  Because that's what would happen.

Dude. No lie. People would die. Every year. Regardless.

I would hope they'd quiet down after a few ass whoopins.

Ole Miss and MSU are both founding members of the SEC too.

Burn.

I however, think it is stupid for elected politicians to focus on such a trivial matter as football. This nonsense of politicians thinking they can legislate whatever the fuck they feel like needs to stop yesterday. Seriously.

Every word of this.  If people want to cheat at baseball, let the sanctioning body deal with it.  If schools don't want to play each other in football, let them work it out.  Stop spending MY MONEY on things that don't matter in the grand scheme of things.  I can do that myself after all.
