...my waiting thread. I'm using it to vent my frustration at having to wait because everyone at the FLD appears to be on holiday and I want some new kit now! now! now!.
Where's the FEO when you need 'em?!?

| A few years ago I called up the Firearms Dept to ask if there were any updates on my variation, it had been 3 months and 1 week. I was told that it was just awaiting a once over and a signature from the manager, but he was on holiday. A week later somebody from my club said they had phoned the Firearms Dept, and was told the manager was on holiday. Three weeks later somebody else was told he was 'on holiday. Wish I had a months holiday in my job. This was North Wales Police btw. Why can't they just be honest instead of making rubbish excuses. |

Actually I quite liked the airsoft one in Bradder's pics in his chilli thread.
And I've just remembered that I actually have an airsoft MP5 somewhere in the attic  . It's not been used for a decade at least and the spring makes a funny sound after someone dropped it...

Just had an argument over 5.56 v .223 but I think I won and they'll give it to me. Still be a few weeks until the paperwork lands on the doorstep. There were some interesting 'facts' that came out of the conversation but I shouldn't kiss and tell
