CHP gave a friend a ticket and the officer put the wrong address for the court on the ticket. Friend wants to know if this counts as an incorrectly filled out ticket and thus void? ETA - Calveras county |
HIGHLY doubt it. After all, he knows what steps he can take to correct this right? SGatr15 |

Cops make mistakes. Judges know it. It won't change your guilt, but will embarrass you and make you look like an idiot in court. I know, I've seen it. Do the traffic school. If you can't, reassess your driving skills and methods, grow up a bit, pay the fine. I got two tickets in 24 hours when I was 19. I did that reassessment then, and haven't had any tickets in the 20 years that followed. |
