| Timonium Fairgrounds, almost took off work to go. How was it? With SOS & NGD show this month I wanted to save $$. |
|
Show was a typical sucky baltimore area show. Did find several Ar15 uppers but no great prices. I did get one of those evil guns as described in the AWB. I got a Enfield Mk 1 No. 5 Jungle Carbine, with a evil flash supressor. Did feel a little dirty when I bought it. They did'nt even check my ID and did not want a copy of my C&R. I was like "WHAT, So where did this gun come from". But it's no skin off my nose, I bought it legally. TRapture |
Just make sure you got their FFL number. |
I saw some signs on the AWB and asked if they knew about the tax. Some said no. |
Technically there isn't anything you Can't buy. Though for some it you'll need to find a dealer that is willing to sell to a MD resident, and in other cases you'll need a to find a MD FFL to accept the transfer (i.e. a handgun). |
Which one? THe $1800 legend or the $2000 polytech national match with the 20" barrel? ![]() The on guy had them for $499 yugos. Not bad at all. Then a guy had them down the isle for $699.

I was going to pick up one of the $500 ones Right now I am trying to build up my "Piss of Liberals" collection which is basiclly any gun that looks evil - so far i got the Beretta Storm, AR15 and now the PS90 still looking for an FS200 and the next go around will get the AK |
| I think AK's are at the top of the "piss off liberals" list. AR's are up there, but everyone seems to "fear" the AK-47. Those Yugos are actually a good buy if you can find one without a canted front sight base. They do have some trigger slap, even with the Tapco G2 trigger. |
| About 1 in 3 of them come from the factory with a front sight base canted to the left as you look down the barrel (as if you were shooting the weapon). Can make for some interesting sight adjustments at the range. I personally examined almost every one in the pile that Shooter's Discount had at the Timonium show and couldn't find one that was "straight enough" for my liking. I already have an AK, so it wasn't a must have item. |
