http://www.rattlesnakeridge.org/index.html Rattlesnake Ridge Training Center and School is about a mile and a half from my home. I plan to contact them today. I was hoping someone may have attended this school and used the Range and perhaps provide me some info about it. I'll post a follow up after I speak with them. Thanks, John |

http://www.rattlesnakeridge.org/ This may fix that broken link. Thank you John |
| I have never been myself, but have only heard good things about it. I even read an article about it in some gunner magazine. An establishment such as that usually gets into mags for being up there with the best or being the worst of the worst. Like I said before I have heard nothing but goods out of that school. |

Here is some information for those who might be interested. The Range is used by the company for it's business concerns. It is currently not open to the general public. Ed does accept on a case by case basis individuals who meet certain prior training and occupational standards to become Range Safety Officers. This allows those who fill such positions to utilize the facilities. Most of these positions are filled currently by members of 5th SF Group, Law Enforcement Officers, Military Retiree's, and Certified Instructors in Fire Arms. If interested you can send him an e-mail and he will set up a time to meet with you. You must attend a RSO Course he instructs, then access is granted. Cost for the Range Safety Officer Course and access to all ranges is 175.00, and 25.00 for NRA membership, for a total of 200.00 yearly. If your an NRA member the cost is 175.00. This covers the cost of insurance. Family members may shoot with you for free any time you are there. You are allowed a none family member to shoot with you, but that individual may only shoot once per year. Due to the demand for a place to shoot by the general public he is in the process of studying the feasibility of putting the Range in a position to be made available on a daily basis. The cost and times the range are open has not been finalized. He said he plans, should it be made available to the public, to open it for public access this fall. It is all dependent upon insurance liability. I walked the range complex and it's a great site. For those interested he has 1800 acres for private hunting, but this requires payment yearly. John |
