I am looking for some good handgun training courses in the LA area. Anyone have any good recommendations? I am not a CA naive will this matter in the great state of Kalifornistan???

ITTS is who would get my money in the L.A. area. Classes are held at the Eagle's Nest at Angeles Shooting Ranges.
As long as your hardware complies with the state and local laws, you can take classes here in CA.
