Ok, pretty much a question I should know the answer to. BUT.....
This is the only rifle I've ever sold. (and I don't really want to, but I need the cash) If I sell a long gun to a NJ resident, do I need to do any paper work?? Private sale, gun is GTG on NJ. Thanks |

YOU cannot sell a gun directly (in person face to face ) to a resident of another state |
| For a long gun, you can go through a PA FFL. The NJ resident is supposed to have a Nj Cert of eligibility, which can be easily downloaded. make him go to your PA FFL....not you going to NJ. Handguns must go through a Nj FFL, but long guns and shotguns can transfer through a PA FFL. |
